Private Clients We offer a wide range of services for private
clients. Vegetable and Fruit plots, designed, created, rotation plans, seedlings,
plants and tree supply! Hard landscape features also are professionally
installed if raised beds are required. Fruit trees can be espalier, fan or
cordon trained to make use of space of cover bare walls or fencing. Country cottage style gardens are also carefully
designed and maintained to ensure all year colours. We produce most of our
own flowers from seed from many varieties of Dahlias, Chrysanthemums,
Foxgloves and Delphiniums for example. We also offer a professional and reliable
maintenance service, which includes lawn-care, tree felling, hedge cutting
and even garden clearances that are environmentally disposed of. Schools Safe but enjoyable growing areas are created
within school premises. Children can be taught at a very early age how to
grow vegetables and flowers! They will more likely to eat what they have
grown too!! No more Pizzas? Pumpkin competitions, bug counts and an excuse to
get them out of the classroom during the sunshine. We can encourage the
children to respect and look after their school through the rearing and
planting of flowers within the school grounds. We have all seen the advert where the little girl
spells out Palaeontologist, let’s have our children spell Delphinium
and grow them! There are lots of other advantages of children
getting outside in the school garden. Learning how to recycle through
composting, caring for the environment especially wildlife and insects and
their role in maintaining a healthy habitat for all that’s growing
around them. Able-bodied children can even visit those that
are less fortunate than themselves and help them cultivate and tend their
plots, seed and plant swaps! Obesity in children is becoming an issue and will
be a massive burden to the National Health Service if eating habits do not
change! If we can only capture this generation of primary
school children’s imagination and encourage them to grow and eat
healthy at an early age then we will not have to worry about future NH
service cost! A packet of seeds can inspire the most un-inspirable! Even a
grow bag on an inner city balcony floor! Property Developers
We welcome any property companies that enquire
about landscapes that do not involve 100% evergreen, miles of weed fabric and
low maintenance planting. If you are seeking a more colourful and
inspirational idea for any new builds that you have then we will be only too
glad to help. Full maintenance contracts will be offered too. Public Houses and Restaurants Vegetable and fruit plots can be designed and
created on the premises on the above commercial premises. Large or small, any
project would be welcome to help boost your margin on Home Grown Produce! You
decide what your niche might be and we will help you grow and maintain it. Enquiries for sundries such as bespoke hanging baskets
to brighten up frontage will be welcome as we do grow a good healthy stock of
Geranium, Petunia, Lobelia, Fuchsia and winter stock too, many varieties of
Pansies for example. Please contact us for any specific requirements. Disabled & Elderly
The Home Grown Food Co. can work closely with any
charity or local authority to design and create accessible growing areas for
either the disabled or elderly, whether it be in sheltered housing,
educational or private residential premises. Raised beds and functional pathways made from
sustainable sources and adapted to the client needs will always be forefront.
We will always insist that an occupational therapist works with us as
partners to finding solutions to meet specific criteria. Specially adapted tools can also be supplied with

These tools have been designed especially for those that suffer from
Rheumatoid Arthritis or people with disabilities. General
Whatever the client, we offer a range of
maintenance, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly or just that late autumn clear
up. Allotment plots cleared and cultivated too! Garden clearance, whether it is removing
quantities of garden waste, shed or greenhouse dismantling or removal we will
remove it and transport it to a recycling centre. We can also
supply and install a wide range of brand new greenhouses made by a leading
manufacturer. |
